Nigerian influencer and entertainer Yhemolee has responded to speculations about his marriage, addressing rumors sparked by a series of emotional posts shared on social media.
The entertainer, who tied the knot with his wife Thayour less than a year ago, recently posted messages that many interpreted as signs of tension in their relationship. In one post, he warned men not to “die for any woman,” arguing that such sacrifices often go unrewarded. Another post read: “Isolation initially looks like punishment, but something powerful happens in the silence.”
The cryptic updates quickly gained traction online, with fans and followers debating the state of his marriage. However, Yhemolee has now dismissed the rumors, accusing online users of exaggerating the situation.
“I wasn’t expecting any less from them. As dem no see food chop since from me, them go cook werey chop for themselves,” he said, hitting back at those spreading the rumors.
He also used the Netflix drama The King’s Affection (TKAM) to highlight the importance of men looking after their mental and emotional health.
“All the men for TKAM dey oh. If you look am well, all the women remain alive,” he noted.
Referring to a viral video of a man who was visibly distressed over his wife’s behavior, Yhemolee criticized those who mocked him. “You need to see the comments of the daughters of Jezebel. Hence, my outrage. Shalom.”
He ended by stressing that personal struggles should not be public entertainment. “Agenda must agend. So even if I get crisis na, people wey never chop since yesterday I go come tell? My family dey go enjoy life like this. Make una dey there dey cry for Ijegun,” he added.
