Yul Edochie Speaks on Rising Untimely Deaths, Says Ancestors and Spirits are Angry

The actor claims ancestral spirits are angry as people abandon native worship for foreign religions.
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on the increased number of untimely deaths in Nigeria. He blames it on the people’s abandonment of the traditional belief.
He revealed that during a recent trip from Anambra to Abia State, he was shocked by the number of obituary posters of young people he saw along the way.
Yul believes the growing loss of young lives is a result of neglecting African traditional beliefs. He said the ancestors and spirits are angry because many people have turned away from native forms of worship.
According to him, “…To many early and untimely deaths. And it’s because we abandoned our traditional ways…”
