He praised his father’s strength, saying he never showed struggle despite working long, hard hours.
Nigerian rapper Olamide Adedeji recently shared a touching moment during an interview where he opened up about the loss of his parents.
In the interview, he was asked who he misses most in life. Olamide responded that he misses both his mother and father. He shared how much he wishes he could still hear their voices, describing that as one of the things he misses most.
He spoke about his father’s dedication, recalling how he used to work on the Island while the family lived on the Mainland. According to Olamide, his father would wake up as early as 5 a.m. to go to work, yet never allowed his children to see the hardship he endured.
Despite the demands of his job, which he did for two decades, Olamide said his father never showed any sign of struggle at home. He revealed that his dad often got only five hours of sleep but remained strong and present for the family.
