Daniel Regha Says Burna Boy Is Still an Upcoming Artist Compared to Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide
Daniel Regha says Burna Boy shouldn’t be ranked alongside Wizkid, Davido, or Olamide in music status.
He argues Burna rose to fame later and is still catching up to artists from the earlier wave.
Daniel Regha has described Burna Boy as an upcoming artist when compared to some of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.
Speaking on the podcast Doyin’s Corner with former BBNaija housemate Doyinsola, Regha argued that Burna Boy does not belong in the same tier as Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide. According to him, Burna Boy’s rise to stardom came much later than that of the three artists, making him part of a different generation.
He further explained that comparing Burna Boy to Davido or Wizkid is like trying to compare 2Face Idibia to newer acts.
in his view, each artist belongs to a particular wave, and Burna Boy, despite his achievements, is still climbing toward the level set by those who came before him.
