Veteran journalist Stella Dimokokorkus has made claims that Wunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, allegedly underwent multiple DNA tests that were never made public.
Following Mohbad’s death, rumors circulated questioning the paternity of his son, Liam, with several voices including Mohbad’s father calling for a DNA test.
In a recent revelation, Dimokokorkus stated that in May 2024, Wunmi secretly conducted two DNA tests with the assistance of a popular Yoruba Nollywood actress. She alleged that neither of the test results was shared publicly or with close family members.
In her words:
“Late singer Mohbad’s wife Wunmi has allegedly secretly done two DNA tests with both results not released to the public or those around her… According to insiders, the first test result led them to conduct a second one, which is currently in the possession of the actress. Sources claim the result might shock everyone.”
She questioned why the results have remained undisclosed, despite the public scrutiny and ongoing calls for transparency.
“This is hoping that the DNA test results will be made public to end all the drama that has shifted the focus from who or what killed Mohbad to whether little Liam is his child or not.”
Dimokokorkus added that although the story had been previously denied in various interviews, new evidence, including screenshots from a WhatsApp group chat, now suggest the tests were indeed carried out.
