According to VDM, he had advised Marley to pursue a cyberbullying case, claiming that Iyabo Ojo’s public remarks had damaged the singer’s reputation and career. However, Marley allegedly turned down the suggestion and chose to forgive her instead.

In a recent video shared on TikTok, VeryDarkMan recounted that the conversation happened at the Lagos State Police Commissioner’s office, where he and Marley had agreed to proceed with legal action. But things took an unexpected turn after Ojo reportedly offered an apology in Yoruba.

“I told Naira Marley to detain Iyabo Ojo but he said Allah will judge. I told him to lose his cool the moment we enter the Police Commissioner’s office and say Iyabo Ojo’s defamatory remarks have ruined his career and tarnished his image. He said okay, but when he got there and Iyabo said apologized in Yoruba, Naira Marley immediately forgave her. I almost died where I was sitting. I was so upset and disappointed,” he said.

VeryDarkMan also revealed that music promoter Sam Larry was visibly displeased with Marley’s decision, insisting the apology shouldn’t have been accepted.
