Manchester United are closing in on a new star as transfer talks gather strong momentum.

The 21-year-old has reportedly agreed to a contract running until June 2030, signalling his strong interest in joining the Premier League giants. According to sources close to the negotiations, Sesko has made it clear that Manchester United is his preferred destination and has not given similar signals to any other club.

While the player’s side of the deal appears settled, discussions between Manchester United and RB Leipzig over a transfer fee are still ongoing. Talks are said to be progressing, with both clubs working to reach a mutual agreement in the coming days.

Sesko, who scored 18 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season, is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young forwards. Known for his physicality, pace, and finishing ability, he has attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe. But because of Sesko’s obvious intentions and Ruben Amorim wish to increase his attacking options, United has taken the lead.

The striker’s arrival could offer much-needed depth and competition to United’s frontline as the club prepares for a busy 2025/26 season. If the club-to-club negotiations conclude successfully, Sesko would become one of United’s major signings of the summer transfer window.

Further updates are expected soon as Manchester United pushes to finalise the agreement with RB Leipzig.
