Iran Hangs Man Accused of Spying for Israel
Iran executes alleged Mossad spy accused of leaking intel on slain nuclear scientist during conflict.
Authorities claim Roozbeh Vadi passed secrets to Israel amid rising tension and deadly retaliatory attacks.
Iranian authorities have executed a man accused of spying for Israel and leaking information about a nuclear scientist who was killed during the recent conflict between both countries.

The man, identified as Roozbeh Vadi, was hanged after Iran’s Supreme Court upheld his conviction, according to the judiciary’s official news outlet, Mizan Online.
Vadi was said to have worked in a “sensitive organization” in Iran, where he allegedly shared classified information with Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, after being recruited online.
The report said his leaks were connected to a nuclear scientist who was assassinated during what Iran described as “the Zionist regime’s recent aggression.” It did not specify when Vadi was arrested or tried.
In June, Israel carried out airstrikes in Iran in what has been called an unprecedented attack, leading to a short but deadly conflict. Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes. The attacks reportedly killed military officials, scientists, and civilians.
Iranian media reported that at least a dozen nuclear scientists died during the conflict. Since then, the Iranian government has promised quick trials for anyone accused of cooperating with Israeli intelligence. Several arrests and executions linked to alleged Mossad activity have already been announced.
