A man identified as Obi Levi Obieze, popularly known as Ichie Millions Ezeani, appeared unbothered and smiling as he was arraigned in court on serious allegations of ritual killings and attempted kidnapping.
Obieze was reportedly apprehended while trying to escape the country shortly after his residence in Ezeagu, Enugu State, was stormed by enraged locals.
The incident occurred on May 28, 2025, when community members launched an attack on his home following claims that he had attempted to abduct a 13-year-old girl for ritual purposes.
During the search of his compound, locals allegedly uncovered soak-away pits believed to have been used for burying victims, including pregnant women, who were reportedly used in ritual practices.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the disturbing claims, while Obieze remains in custody pending further court proceedings.
