President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed heartfelt condolences to President John Mahama and the people of Ghana following a tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of several high-ranking officials.
In a message released by the presidency on Wednesday, President Tinubu conveyed deep sympathy to the families of the victims, the government, and all Ghanaians over the national tragedy. The Nigerian leader said the thoughts and prayers of the Nigerian people are with Ghana during this period of mourning.
He described the deceased as patriots who gave their lives in the service of their country, urging the bereaved to take solace in their sacrifice and dedication to national duty.
President Tinubu also offered prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed souls and strength for their loved ones left behind.
