K1 De Ultimate Blacklisted From Nigerian Flights Over Airport Incident
K1 De Ultimate banned from flying commercial in Nigeria over airport misconduct incident in Abuja.
NCAA enforces six-month suspension, stressing safety rules apply equally regardless of fame or status.
Popular Fuji star Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, has been banned from boarding commercial flights in Nigeria for the next six months.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) handed down the suspension following a recent incident involving the musician at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. The authority said the singer’s behavior breached airport protocol and disrupted boarding and departure procedures.
Speaking to TVC News, NCAA’s Director of Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, confirmed the ban, stating that K1 De Ultimate had been blacklisted from all commercial flights within Nigeria for six months. The incident has also led to the temporary suspension of the licenses of pilots involved, pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.
The NCAA emphasized that safety and adherence to aviation rules remain paramount, regardless of anyone’s fame or social status. Addressing online speculation, Achimugu said the musician would not receive special treatment because of his connections.
“The fact that he is a well-known figure or even close to the President does not exempt him from the law,” Achimugu said. “President Bola Tinubu himself is a respecter of the law and would not condone any act that undermines public safety or the regulatory authority of the NCAA.”
