Taking to Instagram, the actress revealed that someone had created a YouTube channel named Mobimpewrite’s Stories and was duplicating her work, matching her videos and posters exactly. According to her, the individual waits for her to publish content and then uploads similar materials under the fake channel, misleading viewers into believing the account belongs to her.

Mobimpe described the act as not only disrespectful but emotionally draining. She said she’s tired of the silence and could no longer ignore the blatant theft of her hard work.

She pointed out that even a heartfelt birthday tribute she posted for her mother had been copied word-for-word. “That’s not inspiration,” she said. “That’s disrespectful.”

The actress also noted that the impersonator has been gaining followers and engagement at her expense, adding that many fans do not even realise they are following a fake page. According to her, her team has tried to report the channel, but the issue persists.

Mobimpe confessed that the entire situation has left her mentally exhausted. “Imagine pouring your heart into your work only for someone else to keep stealing it and smiling,” she wrote. “I don’t talk much, but today, I need to speak out.”

She warned the person behind the page that their actions wouldn’t go unpunished. In her words, “You will not go scot-free. What you’re doing is deeply wrong. You’re impersonating me and deceiving people, and one thing I can assure you is this: you will be caught. Soon.”

Mobimpe also made a direct appeal to her fans, urging them to report the fake channel to YouTube. She asked anyone with legal or technical know-how to reach out with advice on how to bring the impersonator to justice.

She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to protecting her platform. According to her, she built Mobimpe TV with passion, consistency, and genuine effort, and won’t allow anyone hijack what she has poured her heart into.
