Cubana Chief Priest Says U.S. Visa Denial Kept Him from Davido’s Miami Wedding
Cubana Chief Priest says he missed Davido and Chioma’s Miami white wedding due to U.S. visa denial.
He clarified the refusal was from past application errors, not any criminal or legal issues.
Celebrity nightlife promoter Cubana Chief Priest has revealed that he was unable to attend Davido and Chioma’s highly anticipated white wedding in Miami earlier this year because he was denied a U.S. visa.

Speaking publicly about the incident, the nightlife entrepreneur explained that the denial was linked to errors in his previous visa applications, rather than any legal troubles. He emphasized that there were no substantiated criminal or legal issues affecting his travel eligibility.
The Miami wedding, part of Davido’s grand 2025 wedding celebrations, drew prominent guests from Nigeria and abroad. Cubana Chief Priest, known for his close friendship with the award-winning artist, said missing the event was deeply disappointing.
“I really wanted to be there for my brother on such a special day,” he said, while expressing hope that his next application would be successful. “I’m pleading with the U.S. embassy to give me another chance.”
While the setback kept him from joining the festivities in person, Cubana Chief Priest has continued to publicly celebrate the couple, sharing congratulatory messages and photos online. He also hinted at plans to travel to the U.S. in the future once his visa status is resolved.
