I Will Die Without Sickness, Pastor Adeboye Reaffirms Prophetic Vision

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has restated his belief that he will pass peacefully after Sunday service.

He shared the vision during RCCG’s convention while urging Christians to claim their spiritual and earthly blessings.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has reiterated his long-held belief about how his life will end peacefully, after a Sunday service and a meal of his favourite dish, pounded yam.

Speaking on the fourth day of RCCG’s ongoing International Convention, themed “The Overcomers,” Pastor Adeboye recalled a vision he first shared two years ago. He said he believes he will not die from illness but will pass on quietly and without pain.

“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” the respected cleric told the congregation.

Delivering a sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions,” he urged Christians to claim the blessings that Christ has secured for them including healing, prosperity, fruitfulness, and long life. Drawing from the biblical account of the Israelites taking the Promised Land, he emphasized that believers often have to fight spiritually to obtain what already belongs to them.

“Your best friend, Jesus Christ, paid a high price for your healing,” he said, encouraging worshippers to reject sickness and live in divine health through faith.

On financial abundance, Pastor Adeboye noted that God, who owns all wealth, has already provided for His people. “The One who owns all the gold and silver paid a terrible price so that you wouldn’t be poor. If you choose to remain poor, that’s on you,” he stated.

He also addressed what he described as society’s inconsistency in judging believers. “If you succeed as a Christian, they attack you. If you die poor, they ask, ‘Where was your God?’” he remarked.
