Verydarkman has condemned K1 De Ultimate’s airport conduct, warning it endangered lives and breached aviation rules.
He said such actions in a more regulated country could have led to the singer’s detention.
Nigerian social media activist Vincent Otse Martins, popularly known as Verydarkman, has criticized Fuji music legend Wasiu Omogbolahan Adewale, also called K1 De Ultimate, for his recent conduct at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The criticism followed reports that Kwam 1 stood directly in front of a plane preparing for departure, a move Verydarkman said put both his life and that of passengers at risk. He noted that such behaviour, in a more regulated country, could have led to the singer’s detention.
“In as much as I respect Kwam the Ultimate as a leader, pioneer, a father and a big music legend, the truth needs to be said. If na advanced country we dey, dey for detain Kwam for putting his own life at risk as well as other people on that plane,” he said.
Verydarkman explained that standing in front of an aircraft during taxiing could cause dangerous scenarios, including being struck by the propeller or forcing the pilot into a manoeuvre that might lead to a collision.
He also stressed that punctuality is critical in aviation and that Kwam 1’s actions may have delayed passengers with urgent engagements such as medical appointments or important business opportunities.
