Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Dope Caesar, has dismissed online rumors claiming she had passed away after battling an undisclosed illness.
The false reports, which circulated earlier, raised concern among fans and prompted many to reach out to her.
Taking to Instagram Live, DJ Dope Caesar assured everyone that she was alive, healthy, and unharmed.
“Guys, nothing happened to me. I’m not dead. I don’t know where this rumor is coming from. I’m okay, very, very okay,” she said. “Instablog, please don’t post anything about me. I didn’t die, I’m not in an accident, nothing happened to me. Definitely somebody started this… I don’t know what their reason is, but I’m okay and doing well. Thank you.”
Her statement has since calmed worried fans, though many have expressed frustration over the spread of false news about her.
