BBNaija’s Ka3na Responds to Backlash Over Photoshopped Davido and Chioma Pre-Wedding Photo
Ka3na defended a photoshopped pre-wedding photo of Davido and Chioma after backlash from Nigerians.
She insisted it was a harmless joke, expressing admiration and prayers for the couple’s relationship.
Former BBNaija housemate Ka3na has addressed criticism over a photoshopped version of Davido and Chioma’s pre-wedding photo in which she replaced Chioma’s face with her own.
Ka3na first shared the altered photo with the caption: “Bloggers be out here photoshopping my wedding pics… Here’s the real photo. y’all made our day so special #chivido2025. Congratulations to the bride & groom @davido thechefchi.” The post, however, drew criticism from many Nigerians, who accused her of being disrespectful to the couple.
Responding at length, Ka3na clarified that she has no romantic interest in Davido, emphasizing that she only dates white men. She revealed she became a millionaire at 19, got married at 22, and had her first child at 25. She expressed her admiration for Davido and Chioma, saying she prays for them and speaks well of their relationship.
She also challenged her critics, asking how many genuinely pray for the couple instead of offering what she described as “fake public love” online. Identifying herself as a virtuous woman, widow, single mother, and businesswoman, she urged people not to let insecurities influence their judgment.
“I pray God softens our hearts so we can laugh at jokes and not judge others wrongly,” she wrote, adding that the post was always meant to be deleted after 24 hours, not because of public backlash.
