Klintoncod Questions Cubana Chief Priest’s Story on Skipping U.S. Trip
Klintoncod questioned Cubana Chief Priest’s claim that a U.S. visa denial kept him from Davido’s wedding.
He hinted the real reason for avoiding U.S. soil is being deliberately concealed.
Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has cast doubt on celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for missing Davido’s recent wedding in Miami, suggesting the true reason for his absence from the United States is being kept under wraps.
Chief Priest had previously addressed the issue, appealing to the U.S. government for a visa and expressing disappointment over missing the high-profile celebration. He told fans that “delay is not denial” and that he still hoped to travel.
However, in a post on X, Klintoncod expressed doubt, noting that Davido’s aide Israel DMW despite his limited English was able to attend the event. He questioned how a billionaire like Chief Priest could struggle with visa approval while his wife and children reportedly have access to the U.S.
“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha. Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get. Baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha,” Klintoncod wrote.
When a social media user defended Chief Priest by referencing an old interview where he claimed his visa was denied years ago when he “was still a nobody” and applied through an agent, Klintoncod brushed it off as “Dead talk still!!” maintaining his disbelief.
