One Killed in Suspected Jungle Justice Incident in Orozo, Abuja
Orozo residents awoke to chaos after an unidentified man was found dead near Arab Junction.
Witnesses claim he was caught during a failed motorcycle theft and killed by an angry mob.
The Orozo community in the Federal Capital Territory was thrown into unrest early Thursday after the death of an unidentified man, believed to have been a victim of jungle justice.

Residents near the busy Arab Junction woke up to find the man’s lifeless body, drawing a crowd of onlookers. Many said they were unsure about the events that led to his death.
According to a female POS operator in the area, the deceased was allegedly part of a gang of about ten young men who had been targeting commercial motorcyclists in the Angwan Sarki area at night. The gang was said to have stolen motorcycles from riders on several occasions.
She explained that their latest attempt failed when the motorcyclists reportedly fought back. While nine suspects managed to escape, one was caught and allegedly beaten by a mob until he died.
Community sources revealed that the local chief and youth leader immediately contacted the police to report the matter.
A police officer, when approached, refused to give details but promised that a full investigation would be carried out to uncover what happened.
