Dangote Group has pledged support for Phyna’s sister after a truck accident caused severe injuries.
The company says it will cover medical costs and provide compensation under its welfare policy.
Newskobo.com earlier reported that Phyna publicly criticized Aliko Dangote over an alleged accident involving one of his company’s trucks that injured her sister.
The Dangote Group has issued a response to reality TV star Phyna’s claim that one of its trucks was involved in an accident that severely injured her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.
Phyna had earlier explained that the incident occurred in Auchi, Edo State, when a Dangote truck hit her sister, leading to the amputation of one leg, while the other remains at risk.
In a statement, the company said senior officials from Dangote Cement PLC, alongside their insurance representatives, quickly visited Ruth and her sister in the hospital following the accident.
Dangote Cement added that it is committed to supporting Ruth’s recovery, covering her medical expenses, and ensuring due compensation in line with the company’s welfare policies.
