Nigerian social media critic Daniel Regha slammed singer Tiwa Savage over her preference for wealth as her desired quality in a future husband.

During a recent interview, the award-winning singer, who is divorced and a mother of one, revealed that her ideal partner must be extremely wealthy and free from “baby mama drama.”
Her statement quickly drew attention, with Regha being one of the most vocal critics. In a post shared on X, he argued that Tiwa Savage’s expectations focused more on money than on genuine character.
“Tiwa Savage, who’s already a mother of one with controversies, only wants a man who owns a private plane, a yacht, with no baby mama dramas; she’s not looking for someone with a good heart, but anyone who’s filthy rich. Now imagine if the man she likes says he only wants a lady with at least 15 Grammys and no controversy, hope it will sit well with her? Her expectation is giving gold-digger vibes. It’s beyond disappointing,” he wrote.
Regha concluded that such criteria promote materialism over meaningful values and could be seen as setting double standards in relationships.
