BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa Defends Toke Makinwa Against Solomon Buchi’s Criticism
BBNaija star Uriel Oputa has fired back at Solomon Buchi over his comments on Toke Makinwa’s pregnancy.
She argued he has no right to judge her choices or women’s struggles.
Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa has taken to social media to respond to social commentator Solomon Buchi following his remarks about media personality Toke Makinwa’s pregnancy.

Buchi, in a video shared online, had congratulated Toke but cautioned her against “spiritualizing” the situation. He argued that her choice did not align with biblical principles, which emphasize marriage before childbirth. While acknowledging her desire to become a mother, he criticized the idea of celebrating pregnancy outside wedlock, insisting it is not something a “Jesus girl” should promote.
In a reaction, Uriel posted on Instagram, stating that Buchi had no right to pass judgment on Toke’s personal journey since he could not possibly know the struggles she faced before making her decision. She also questioned why a man would feel entitled to hold such strong opinions on issues that directly concern women and their experiences.
