Oriyomi Hamzat Apologizes to Naira Marley, Ends Marlian Records Ban on Agidigbo FM
Broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has lifted Agidigbo FM’s two-year ban on Naira Marley’s music.
He apologized after the singer’s vindication, confirming Marlian Records’ songs are back on air.
Popular broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has issued an apology to singer Naira Marley and announced that his radio station, Agidigbo FM, will once again play songs from Marlian Records. This decision officially lifts the two-year ban placed on the label’s music.
Back in September 2024, Hamzat prohibited Naira Marley’s songs from airing on the station after widespread controversy surrounding the death of ex-Marlian signee, Mohbad. At the time, suspicions had linked Marley to the tragedy.
However, following Marley’s vindication, Hamzat publicly expressed regret over the ban and his earlier stance. He further confirmed that Agidigbo FM has resumed airplay of the singer’s songs and other tracks under his record label.
