The singer clarified that on September 12, 2023, the day MohBad died, he was outside Nigeria. According to him, he first traveled to Amsterdam before heading to Montenegro to meet Zinoleesky for a video shoot. Marley stressed that he had passport stamps, recordings, and witnesses to verify his location at the time.

Reflecting on their last encounter, Marley revealed that the final time he saw MohBad was on October 4, 2022, during a clash between the late artist and his manager. He added that, despite MohBad’s troubles, including a fallout with the NDLEA, a suicide attempt, legal issues with his distributor, and his departure from Marlian Music, the young artist was still considering making peace before his passing.

Reacting to viral footage, including a clip showing Sam Larry confronting MohBad on set, Marley insisted that the video was old and not related to the singer’s death. He noted that he only saw it online like everyone else and said Zlatan had even confirmed privately that no violence occurred on that shoot.

Marley accused some blogs of being paid to recycle old clips in order to twist the narrative against him, stressing that the false accusations denied him the opportunity to grieve MohBad properly.

Speaking further on MohBad’s struggles, Marley pointed to a leaked voice note where the late artist expressed fear and paranoia. He also referred to MohBad’s partner, who confirmed that he suffered depression, was once treated in a psychiatric hospital, and never fully recovered from the NDLEA raid that left him shaken.

Marley firmly denied bullying MohBad or instructing anyone to harass him. He also dismissed a viral Snapchat video of him dancing after MohBad’s death, clarifying that it was an old clip circulated to frame him.
