Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has revealed how her battle with cancer nearly cost her the chance of becoming a mother.

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, the actress shared that she underwent several medical tests after being diagnosed, with doctors warning that the treatment could affect her fertility. She recounted being told she might not be able to conceive for at least five years because of the medications prescribed.
She recalled: “I was told I had cancer and that further tests would be carried out to check how far it had spread. The doctors also said I wouldn’t be able to conceive for the next 5 years because of the medications I’d have to take, as they could affect the baby.”
“Hearing that at 38 years old was devastating. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long. But I rejected the report and held on to my faith in God. I began the journey with prayer and fasting, combining both the medical and the spiritual. When I did a CT scan, it came out negative; the cancer hadn’t spread. Eventually, they performed a second surgery to remove the remaining tumour.”
The actress credited her faith and resilience for helping her pull through the experience.
