Sharing the heartbreaking news on his official X handle on Monday, Pere disclosed that his friend died by suicide after being subjected to online bullying. Though he did not reveal whether the incident occurred in Nigeria or the United States, where he currently resides, his words underscored the weight of the tragedy.

“I lost a friend today due to online bullying. Committed suicide. Smh. RIP champ. It is well,” he wrote.
