Tragedy struck on Saturday night, August 23, when fans of Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez were reportedly involved in a fatal accident while leaving his concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) on Lagos Island.
According to eyewitness reports, the victims were involved in reckless driving shortly after the show. A social media user, identified as @alli_ya7, shared a video of the aftermath on X, claiming the fans were engaged in a car race before the crash occurred.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident, but calls have intensified for stricter traffic enforcement around major event venues in Lagos to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
