Nollywood actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia has issued a stern warning to women in abusive relationships, stressing that marriage will not change a violent partner but only worsen his behavior.
In a post shared via her Instastory, Etinosa explained that abusive tendencies displayed during dating should not be overlooked or excused. According to her, physical abuse often escalates over time, and women should not expect marriage to magically transform an abusive man into a better partner.
Etinosa emphasized that while some women may choose to remain in toxic relationships, her message was directed at those unwilling to tolerate violence. She concluded her note with a reminder of self-worth and a positive wish for her fans, saying: “So this message is for the women who mind. Happy New Week.”
