Former Big Brother Naija star Tochi criticized the misuse of police officers as personal escorts.
He lamented that Nigeria’s law enforcers now serve individuals at social events and gatherings.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tochi, has voiced his concerns over what he described as the misuse of the Nigeria Police Force.
Sharing his thoughts via Instagram, the reality star lamented that an institution originally established to uphold law, protect lives, and safeguard national security has been reduced to serving as glorified escorts for private individuals.
According to Tochi, police officers are now commonly seen “following individuals to social events, opening car doors, snapping pictures, and serving as status symbols,” a trend he insists undermines the true essence of the force.
He added that this sort of misuse of law enforcement personnel is not seen in other parts of the world, stressing that it is peculiar to Nigeria and needs to stop.
