  • Age limit is between 20 and 32 years. However, medical doctors applying as consultants may be between 25 and 40 years.
  • The DSSC program is not open to serving personnel seeking Branch Commission; officers above 32 years are therefore ineligible.
  • Serving personnel must have completed at least 10 years in service, attained the rank of Corporal, and must be recommended by their Commanding Officer or Commander.

The Force added that shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for a Zonal General Aptitude Test, with the date to be published later on the NAF portal. Those who pass the test will be invited to participate in the final Selection Interview.

NAF emphasized that the DSSC program represents an opportunity to attract talented Nigerians who are eager to contribute to national defense through professional expertise, reflecting the institution’s commitment to evolving with the demands of modern security challenges.
