However, a twist by Head of House Rooboy nullified all votes, leaving every contestant safe this week.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Sultana, has opened up about why her fellow contestants put her up for eviction in Week 5.
The housemates had returned to the traditional nomination process on Monday, where each contestant was required to name two others for possible eviction. This format replaced the earlier system where everyone was automatically up for eviction each week.
Speaking during her diary session with Biggie on Tuesday, Sultana explained that her name came up because others see her as a strong competitor.
She said, “I was nominated because people see me as competition. Because if I was given the power to take out people, I will not take out weak people, I will take out the strong people that will give me problem later.”
However, the nominations did not stand. In a dramatic twist, Rooboy, the Head of House, picked a card from the Tree of Trinkets that nullified all nominations for the week. This meant that, despite the votes, every housemate remained safe from eviction, keeping the competition intense as the show progresses.
