Nkunku Seals €42M Move from Chelsea to AC Milan in Rapid Transfer
AC Milan have signed French forward Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea in a deal worth around €42 million.
Nkunku, hampered by injuries at Chelsea, joins Milan after agreeing personal terms for a fresh start.
AC Milan has successfully completed the signing of French forward Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea for a fee of approximately €42 million (£36.2 million), which also includes additional performance-related bonuses and a sell-on clause.

Nkunku, who signed with Chelsea in 2023 for approximately £52 million (roughly €60 million), struggled to secure regular playing time due to ongoing injury problems. As a result, he was left out of the initial squads for the Premier League season under manager Enzo Maresca.
The swift acquisition by AC Milan, having already agreed on personal terms, signals a new beginning for the 27-year-old. This transfer not only benefits Nkunku but also represents a strategic financial manoeuvre for Chelsea, helping them streamline their attacking lineup and adhere to the financial regulations set by both the Premier League and UEFA.
