Skales Credits Shiloh Experience for Breakthrough Hit “Shake Body”

Singer Skales has revealed his breakthrough came after prayers during the 2013 Shiloh program.

He said his hit “Shake Body” fulfilled a request he repeatedly presented before God.

Nigerian singer Raoul Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has shared how his career took a major turn after attending the 2013 Shiloh program organized by Living Faith Church, also called Winners’ Chapel.

The artist revealed that he attended the event with fellow musician Timaya, and during the program, participants were instructed to write down seven requests to God. Skales said he repeatedly wrote the same request, asking for a global hit song.

According to him, that prayer was answered with his 2015 smash hit “Shake Body”. The song, which became one of his biggest tracks, has recently regained global attention after Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and some teammates were seen dancing to it.

Reflecting on the journey, Skales wrote on X:

“In 2013 @timayatimaya took me to Shiloh and we were told to write down 7 things we are praying for and I wrote a song that will take me to the ends of the world 7 times … fast forward till today he gave me a divine unending song … when they think it’s over another thing pops up about this damn song… Lord Jesus thank you.”

For Skales, “Shake Body” remains more than just a hit, it is the fulfilment of a prayer made in faith.
