UK-Based Nigerian Woman Urges Phyna to Get Legal Backing in Dangote Dispute

A UK-based Nigerian woman has advised reality star Phyna to hire a lawyer in her dispute with Dangote Group.

She warned that verbal assurances or chat messages are not legally binding evidence in court.

Reality star Phyna has continued to receive advice over her clash with the Dangote Group concerning her sister’s medical care. A UK-based Nigerian woman has now weighed in, stressing that the most effective way forward is to engage a lawyer rather than depend on verbal assurances or chat messages.

The woman warned that without documented evidence, Phyna risks being at a disadvantage.

“Word of mouth no dey hold water anywhere in the world… Phyna, Dangote Group is asking you for a doctor’s letter because they know no doctor will give you that letter. You said, and I quote, that the doctor said your sister is fit to be flown abroad. Where is the evidence?”

She further explained that informal communication could be dismissed. “They can come out tomorrow and say that man you’ve been chatting with is not in a position of authority to authorize anything. What do you do then?”

Emphasizing the importance of legal steps, she continued:

“Phyna, lawyer up. If you drag Dangote from now till tomorrow, nothing is going to change. Word of mouth is not legally binding in any way. Chats don’t hold in law. Document everything you’re doing with them.”

Her statement ended with words of encouragement:

“All the best to you and your sister. Justice for your sister. And I pray all works out for you. But the earlier you lawyer up, the better for you.”

This advice comes shortly after Phyna accused the Dangote Group of reneging on an earlier agreement to fly her sister abroad for urgent medical treatment.
