Patience Jonathan Rules Out Returning to Aso Villa, Urges Husband to Embrace Peace
Former First Lady Patience Jonathan has rejected the idea of returning to Aso Rock.
She told her husband Goodluck Jonathan she values peace over the intense pressure of political leadership.
Former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has openly spoken about her feelings regarding the speculation that ex-President Goodluck Jonathan may return to contest for political office.

In a candid message to her husband, she expressed her firm stance that she has no desire to ever live in the Presidential Villa again, noting the heavy strain that leadership in Nigeria brings.
“If I’m asked to go back to the Villa today, I won’t accept,” she declared. “Can’t you see how young I still look? The pressure of governing this country is overwhelming. Once God lifts you out of such a burden, you should give thanks and glorify His name. He has given you that opportunity once, so why go back again? As for me, I won’t return. What I want now is peace.”
