Verydarkman has blamed leaders, Dangote Group, and influencers for failing Phyna’s late sister Ruth.
He accused them of negligence, saying timely action could have saved her after the truck accident.
Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has criticized those he believes failed Ruth Otabor, the sister of BBNaija star Phyna, who recently passed away following an accident involving a Dangote truck.
Ruth’s death was confirmed on Sunday in a statement released by Eko Solicitors & Advocates on behalf of the Otabor family. The young woman had battled for weeks with severe injuries sustained after the truck accident near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State.
In a video reaction, Verydarkman called out President Bola Tinubu, the Dangote Group, and several Nigerian influencers, accusing them of negligence and claiming their failure to act quickly played a role in Ruth’s death.
His remarks surfaced shortly after the Dangote Group issued a condolence message, expressing sorrow over Ruth’s passing. The company explained that both it and its insurance partners had been responsible for her medical and financial care since the accident.
According to the conglomerate, arrangements had already been finalized to fly Ruth to India for advanced treatment, but her doctors had yet to grant medical clearance. Sadly, she died before the transfer could take place.
