Nigerian skit maker Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has died in a car crash.
The accident occurred on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road, leaving fans and colleagues in shock.
Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Raji Samad Adetola, better known as Mr Sanku Comedy, has died in a car accident.
The crash happened in the early hours of Monday along the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Ibadan. Videos and photos shared on social media showed the badly damaged vehicle in a ditch.
Sanku was travelling with a friend when the accident occurred. Both of them were rushed to the hospital but were later confirmed dead.
Reacting to the news, Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa shared on Instagram that she had sent one of her students near Bowen Hospital to check on him.
According to her, the student said he was responding to treatment at the time. She added: “Despite my prayers against death, Sanku eventually passed on.”
