Phyna Didn’t Ask for ₦1B, She Only Wanted Help for Her Sister, Says Mike Premium
Mike Premium has denied reports that reality star Phyna demanded ₦1 billion from Dangote Group.
He clarified her only request was overseas medical care for her late sister.
Talent manager, Mike Premium, has dismissed claims that reality star Phyna demanded ₦1 billion from the Dangote Group after her sister’s tragic accident.

Phyna’s sister, Ruth, was involved in an accident with a Dangote truck and had remained in a coma for several days before eventually passing away. During that period, Phyna sought justice and proper care for her sibling, but her efforts ended in heartbreak when Ruth did not survive.
Social media reports had alleged that Phyna requested a billion naira in compensation, but Mike Premium, who said he personally handled the case, clarified that this was false.
According to him, Phyna’s only request was for her sister to be flown abroad to access urgent medical treatment that was not available locally. He backed this claim by sharing chats showing Phyna’s plea.
He explained:
“At no point did we ever discuss ₦1 billion as a demand. That narrative is false. From the very beginning, the priority was to get her sister out of the country for advanced care. It was clear she needed treatment beyond what was available here. Unfortunately, instead of compassion and swift action, we were faced with delays, excuses, and now tragedy.”
Expressing his disappointment, he added that Ruth’s death should not be seen as natural but as the result of negligence.
“Dangote is not above anyone. In God’s eyes, we are the same. They must do the right thing. Her life wasn’t lost to fate but to human carelessness,” he said.
