Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon, has contributed ₦100,000 to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s charitable initiative ahead of her 65th birthday on September 21, 2025.

Soberekon made the announcement on his social media page, revealing that the donation was in support of the First Lady’s request for contributions to her educational project instead of receiving personal gifts or newspaper tributes. According to her, all funds raised will be deposited into a special account to finance the construction of a National Library, a project reflecting her passion for education and knowledge.

To confirm his donation, Soberekon shared a screenshot of his debit alert along with a message that read: “Happy birthday to our 1st Lady.”
