Tambuwal Accuses Tinubu, APC of Undermining Opposition Parties
Aminu Tambuwal has accused President Bola Tinubu and the APC of fueling opposition party crises.
The former Sokoto governor said patterns nationwide show ruling party involvement despite official denials.
Former Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has accused President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) of actively working to weaken opposition parties across the country.
Speaking on Politics Today, a Channels Television program, on Friday, September 5, Tambuwal alleged that the ruling party and the president were directly linked to the internal crises rocking several opposition groups.
“When you examine the turbulence facing opposition parties nationwide, it is obvious regardless of official denials that the ruling party, including President Tinubu, is playing a role in it,” he claimed.
The former Speaker of the House of Representatives further stressed that his position was not speculative. “This is not suspicion. I am convinced they are deeply involved in these destabilization schemes,” Tambuwal insisted.
He, however, did not provide detailed evidence to support his allegation during the interview but maintained that his assertion was based on clear patterns in the political landscape.
