Ali Baba Reportedly Evicted From Victoria Island Mansion
Ali Baba has reportedly been evicted from his Victoria Island mansion following a Federal High Court order.
The property, bought from AMCON in 2021, was returned to its original owner.
Veteran comedian Ali Baba has allegedly been evicted from his mansion in Victoria Island, Lagos, alongside his company, XQZMOI TV.

According to DailyPost, the eviction followed a writ of possession signed by the Federal High Court on August 15, 2025.
The property, which Ali Baba bought for N220 million in 2021 from the federal government through the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), later became the subject of a legal dispute. AMCON claimed it had sold the property as part of efforts to recover debts allegedly owed by Harold Expansion Industries Nigeria Limited.
However, Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa, in a ruling on July 31, 2025, dismissed AMCON’s case, stating that the corporation failed to prove the alleged debt. The court ruled that the property should be given back to its original owner and also ordered AMCON to pay ₦500 million as damages.
Ali Baba’s involvement stemmed from the timing of his purchase. Reports indicate that he had been a tenant of the property’s original owner before AMCON’s takeover. Despite an existing preservation order and the ongoing court case, he proceeded to buy the mansion, a decision that has now resulted in his eviction.
