Actor Yemi Sholade has revealed he rarely attends church, saying his appearances happen only by chance.
He added that worship is not limited to Sundays and strongly opposed a pastor’s advice.
Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Sholade has spoken out regarding his attendance in church, noting that he rarely attends church.
The actor made the revelation during his appearance on the Honest Bunch Podcast resurfaced online.
During the interview, the actor openly admitted that he rarely attends church, adding that whenever he is seen in one, it happens by chance. He recalled an incident with a pastor who advised him to reject movie roles scheduled for Sundays.
Sholade said he reacted strongly, even placing a curse on the pastor, because he felt the advice was indirectly telling him to avoid opportunities to earn money that would eventually fund his church offerings.
He also questioned the idea that Sunday must be the only day for worship, insisting that there are no rules restricting the act of serving God to a single day of the week.
