Ex-BBNaija star Deeone has sparked online debate comparing Mr Eazi’s wedding to Davido’s.
He claimed Mr Eazi’s lavish ceremonies far outshone Davido’s, drawing top dignitaries and stirring reactions nationwide.
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as Deeone, has stirred debate online with his comparison of Mr Eazi’s wedding to Temi Otedola and Davido’s wedding to Chioma.
In a video shared on Instagram, Deeone claimed that Mr Eazi’s lavish celebrations reportedly cost around $14 million and were spread across three locations which are Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland. He contrasted this with Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding, which he estimated at roughly $6 million.
According to him, Mr Eazi and Temi’s private ceremonies drew top dignitaries, including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and BUA Cement chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu. While acknowledging the Adeleke family’s wealth, Deeone argued that it could not be compared to the financial standing of the Otedolas or Mr Eazi’s Ajibade family.
Taking aim at Davido’s associates, Deeone mocked Cubana Chiefpriest and others who previously bragged with phrases like “Money na Water”, saying they have gone quiet since witnessing the scale of Mr Eazi’s wedding.
He then encouraged Nigerians to openly compare both weddings since they were public events, before concluding with a reminder that wealth is relative: “Where some people’s money ends, another person’s money begins.”
