Ebenezer Obey Dismisses Death Rumors, Says He Is Alive and Well
Music legend Ebenezer Obey has debunked viral rumours claiming he suffered a stroke and died.
The juju icon posted a video with his sons, affirming he is alive and healthy.
Legendary Nigerian musician Ebenezer Obey has refuted widespread rumors claiming that he suffered a stroke and passed away.

Reacting to the false reports, Obey described them as “lies from the kingdom of darkness.” He also posted a video on his Instagram page, flanked by his two sons, with the caption: “Stop the rumours!!!! Ebenezer Obey is alive and well.”
The veteran singer explained that he had travelled to London for personal care and expressed disappointment over the fabricated stories, which even included fake images of coffins.
This is not the first time the juju music icon has had to address such rumors, as similar reports surfaced in 2020 and again earlier this year.
Reaffirming his faith, Obey said: “Everything they have said is nothing but lies that came from the kingdom of darkness. I am alive, I am alive, says the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. I don’t have a stroke. I came to London to look after myself.”
