Dangote Refinery has announced it will start free petrol deliveries to different parts of Nigeria from Monday, September 15. The company revealed this plan on its official X page, saying it will initially focus on 11 states before extending the service to other parts of the country.

The refinery also confirmed a cut in petrol prices. According to the announcement, petrol will sell for N841 per litre in Lagos and other South West states. In Abuja, Edo, Kwara, Rivers and Delta states, the new price will be N851 per litre.
“All petrol station owners nationwide are invited to register for free delivery and other benefits,” the refinery stated.
Dangote Refinery noted that it had earlier acquired 4,000 compressed natural gas (CNG) powered tankers as part of its efforts to improve distribution. It added that the company aims to roll out 10,000 CNG-powered trucks this year to strengthen its logistics system and reduce the overall cost of transporting fuel.
