The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the capture of the gunman who killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was shot dead on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University. The agency’s offer came shortly after it released surveillance images of a person of interest connected to the case.
The photos show an individual described as someone who could “blend in on a college campus,” wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a T-shirt bearing the American flag and an eagle motif.
“We’re offering up to $100,000 for information that can identify and help arrest those responsible for Charlie Kirk’s murder,” the FBI posted on X.
Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason told reporters early Thursday that investigators have clear video footage of the individual.
“If we can’t identify this person immediately, we’ll call on the public and the media to spread the images,” Mason said in paraphrase at a press briefing.
The FBI urged anyone with information to contact its tip line, saying public cooperation could be critical in solving the case.
