Doctor Slams Cubana Chiefpriest Over ₦700k Malaria and Typhoid Drugs
A Nigerian doctor has condemned Cubana Chiefpriest’s ₦700,000 malaria and typhoid prescription as unsafe.
The criticism draws attention to Nigeria’s ongoing healthcare challenges and questions around medical professionalism.
A Nigerian doctor, Dr. Ajidahun Olusina, known as The Bearded Dr Sina on X has criticized nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chiefpriest after he revealed he spent ₦700,000 on drugs to treat malaria and typhoid. The doctor described the prescription as “terrible”.

Cubana Chiefpriest, real name Pascal Okechukwu, had earlier posted on Instagram about his disappointing experience at a Nigerian hospital. According to him, the hospital staff showed little professionalism, which made him abandon his planned medical tests and instead pick up medication from the pharmacy.
Shortly after his post, the celebrity barman shared a receipt listing about seven medications he purchased.
The Bearded Dr Sina wrote, “I always say, if you have money, have personal doctors who are privately intentional about your health. That’s such a terrible drug combination for the supposed ‘malaria and typhoid’ he has. He’d likely be back.” He further argued that someone like Cubana Chiefpriest should not “be slapped with something as useless as ‘malaria and typhoid.’”
