In a statement on Tuesday, the company announced that the card combines physical payment cards accepted at fuel stations nationwide with digital tools, including reports, analytics, and tracking devices.

These features enable households and businesses to monitor usage, curb fuel theft, and control spending.

According to the firm, the system can cut fuel theft by up to 95%. It detects and prevents leaks before they occur, sets custom usage limits for drivers and vehicles, blocks unauthorized transactions, and provides real-time transaction details, including exact volumes purchased per fueling.

Obi Wemambu, Managing Director of Tango Brook Technologies, said the card redefines fuel management by providing both businesses and individuals with real-time visibility into consumption, mileage, and spending.

“With PIN protection, customizable limits, and nationwide acceptance, it offers unmatched flexibility, security and convenience,” Wemambu said. “Enhanced with built-in rewards, Tango delivers savings while ensuring total control.”

Chief Operating Officer Dubem Okafor added that the product is not just a payment method, but also an innovative, secure, and rewarding solution for fuel management.

“This is about giving customers transparency, convenience, and value every time they power their journeys,” Okafor said.

Tango Brook noted that users could save up to 15% on fuel costs while enjoying loyalty rewards of up to 8% on budgets.

For businesses, the platform provides corporate spending controls, enabling employers to set fuel budgets and maintain accountability among drivers.

To get started, customers need to create an account, obtain an instant wallet, Request and activate their fuel card, begin fueling, tracking, and saving.
