Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has reassured her colleague Davido, that she would never betray him or take sides against him.
The singer made the promise while reflecting on their public fallout earlier this year.
The rift began in January 2024 after Tiwa Savage posted a photo with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on social media, at a time when the DMW boss was in a child custody dispute with Sophia. Shortly after, Savage filed a petition against Davido, accusing him of threatening her life.
Speaking in a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the singer said her admiration for Davido remains intact.
“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” Savage stated.
