Nigerian boxer Efe Ajagba has entered The Ring magazine’s heavyweight top 10 rankings.

The 30-year-old joins global stars after consistent performances reignited his ambitions for a world title shot.

Nigerian heavyweight boxer Efe Ajagba has broken into the world’s top 10 rankings following the latest update by The Ring magazine, one of the sport’s most respected independent rating bodies.

In the new rankings released on Thursday, the 30-year-old Ajagba claimed the No. 10 spot, cementing his status as one of Africa’s leading contenders in the heavyweight division.

Ajagba, who boasts a professional record of 20 wins, one loss, and one draw, with 14 victories by knockout, joins an elite list of global stars.

The division is currently led by Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk, who remains the reigning champion.

Britain’s Tyson Fury sits as the No. 1 contender, followed by Joseph Parker of New Zealand and Germany’s Agit Kabayel, rounding out the top three.

Ajagba’s entry makes him the only Nigerian currently ranked in the heavyweight top 10, a milestone that further elevates his international profile.
